Shaheen Shah Afridi ne aik aur bara record apne naam kar liya! Sunday 25 October ko Lahore ke Gaddafi Stadium me England ke khilaf ODI tri-series ke chauthe match me Pakistan ke captain ne apne 80th ODI me 150th wicket hasil ki — aur is ke sath Pakistan ke fastest pacer ban gaye.
Shaheen ko is milestone ke liye match se pehle sirf aik wicket darkar thi, aur unhon ne pehle hi over me kaam tamam kar diya: England ke in-form opener Tom Banton ne aik full-length ball ko cover ki taraf chip kiya aur Arafat Minhas ne aasan catch pakar kar Shaheen ki 150th wicket mukammal ki.
Record book me Shaheen ki jagah:
- 80 matches me 150 wickets — Pakistan ke fastest pacer (Waqar Younis aur Shoaib Akhtar dono ko 91 matches lage the).
- Pakistan ke bowlers me sirf Saqlain Mushtaq (78 matches) un se aage hain — Shaheen overall doosre fastest Pakistani hain.
- Duniya me joint-fourth fastest: Nepal ke Sandeep Lamichhane (73), Mitchell Starc (77), Saqlain (78), phir 80-match club — Shaheen ke sath India ke Mohammed Shami aur Afghanistan ke Rashid Khan.
Match me Shaheen ki bowling: Sirf milestone hi nahi, poora spell hi match ka rukh badalne wala tha — Shaheen ne 4 wickets sirf 46 runs de kar liye. Banton ke baad agle hi over me Joe Root bhi out hue, phir Sam Curran ki wicket se Duckett ke sath bari partnership tooti, aur aakhir me Henry Crocombe ko out kar ke England ki innings samet di. England 241 runs (46.4 overs) par all out hui — Ben Duckett ke 105 ke bawajood (unki 7th ODI century), Curran ne 42 aur Gus Atkinson ne naqabil-e-shikast 36 runs banaye.
Khaas baat ye bhi thi ke Pakistan team is match me gulabi (pink) jerseys me kheli — Breast Cancer Awareness Day ki munasibat se.
Agla match: Tri-series ka 5th ODI 27 October ko Lahore me Pakistan vs Sri Lanka hoga, aur final 31 October ko khela jayega.
